yep...I help sometimes too.

I really wasn't sure how I felt about all the different colors being used in the bathroom...but it seems to have turned out alright.

I hard a hard time choosing which shower curtain I liked.

**Funny** My middle daughter hadn't ever seen a bath mate.......We have always used towels because the floor in the one bathroom down stairs is cement and just eats everything. She loves to sit on the bath mate now.....also they didn't know what a towel bar was either!!! They have been to other peoples houses, so I'm not sure what that was all about.

Can I just tell you how bad the grout smelt!!?? I don't know why but it smells like rotten eggs. It took about 2 weeks to get the smell out.

It's also super messy!!

We also put a clear coat of a seal.

The contractor messed the walls up....surprise surprise! We  fixed them.

This is how thick our walls are in our house! And the walls still aren't straight!

He loves me enough to try to keep the dust away.

First day of school! Late

Let's pretend that I have been blogging this whole time...OK? I'm going to start off from the last few days of August.... So I can show you the girls first day of school pictures! Because I'm their mom and I think they are uber CUTE! I will get the blog all caught up in the posts moving forward.

Master Bathroom part 2

So Fred was home for almost three day and this is what we got done..."we" as in Fred :O) He stayed up tell 4 am and got up at 7 am not much sleep was happening in our house.

Hello heated floors!

 

 So we did run into some problems with the floor. The subfloor that the contractor put down over the existing floor (it had wholes in them) was very bouncy....doesn't surprise me because everything that we paid him to do we are now fixing ourselves. So they had to fix that......which is way they didn't get as much done as they had wanted. We also haven't gotten the rest of our tile order in...I ordered that on the 14th of June. They said it would be a week...right. I'll be calling them again in the morning.   Stay tuned......

Summing up the last several months!

yes, I'm still alive :o)  So...I have had a lot of health problems. In the last 7 months I have had at least 10 UTI's if not more (lost count). Nothing seems to be working, so I will be needing to find a specialist...FUN..ugh! I'm still holding out on the dental work that my daughter and I need. Summer is in full swing at our house, I must say that besides spending time with family and friends we haven't done anything and probably won't besides that. The reason for that is that we got the loan!!! YEAH! We sign the papers on Monday. That was a very long process. The estimates that we come up with before we went to the bank were soo wrong!! They came is a lot higher. We will start in the master bathroom first. This room is just blank. We did the dry wall and plumbing last summer and left it. There isn't anything else in that room. We have spent 10 hours in home depot this month, with all three of the girls!! It looked something like this.....



This day was 4 hours....don't judge :O)

I primed the bathroom, the husband primed and painted the ceiling and did a little paining above the stairs.

Can I just say that I hate painting!? We will be starting on the bathroom this weekend. You can count on me to have a lot of pictures.
